Leadership

Wang Fengzhong, Ph.D., doctoral supervisor and Professor, is currently the General Director of the Institute of Food Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He is also the director of the Key Laboratory of agricultural products quality and safety storage, transportation, management and control, Ministry of agriculture and rural affairs, the director of agricultural products processing quality and Safety Risk Assessment Laboratory (Beijing), Ministry of agriculture and rural affairs, and the processing post expert of national soybean industrial technology system. He used to be the quality director of the bee product testing center of the Ministry of agriculture, the deputy director of the product department of the Institute of Apicultural Research of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the deputy general manager of China honey Corporation, the deputy director of the training service center of the graduate school, the deputy director of the degree office, the director of the professional degree education department, the deputy director and director of the training center, and the director of the Institute of agricultural product processing and food science of the Academy of agriculture and animal husbandry Sciences of Tibet Autonomous Region. He also serves as the director general of the National Alliance of Science and Technology Innovation for Food Derived from Natural Medicinal Resources, and the director general of the potato staple food industrialization alliance. In 1995, he received a master's degree in microbiology from Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and a bachelor's degree in safety of agricultural products from Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Many years engaged in microbiology, agricultural products processing, nutritional health and functional food research, higher education and training.

He has successively presided over and participated in more than 10 projects, including innovation project, basic special projects of the Ministry of science and technology, financial special projects of the Ministry of Agriculture, 863, science and technology support projects, 948 major special projects, agricultural industry standards, agricultural product risk assessment projects, major special projects of agricultural product processing in Tibet Autonomous Region, and a number of science and enterprise docking projects. Completed a number of studies on the production standards and technical specifications of bee products, anti alcohol and liver protection products, Dendrobium products, Pueraria products, etc., completed the development and functional verification of a series of soybean, highland barley, yak, bee products, Dendrobium, Pueraria, wolfberry, Tricholoma matsutake and other products; carried out the research on uric acid reducing food factors, antidepressant food, anti-aging products and anti-aging products. In addition, he has completed the application standard formulation and risk assessment of pigment and "three agents" in the process of agricultural products processing. He participated in the formulation of the 13th Five-Year plan for agricultural products processing in Tibet Autonomous Region, the poverty alleviation industrial plan for highland barley industry in Tibet, the development plan for food manufacturing and agricultural products processing industry in Bozhou City, and the development plan for agricultural products processing industry in Luanchuan city. He has published more than 70 research papers, including 20 SCI papers, 44 authorized patents and 15 graduate students have been trained.
