5th International Workshop of Meat Quality and Processing Technology

Nowadays, scientific innovation and industrial revolution are globally undergoing a rapid growth. The International Workshop of Meat Quality and Processing Technology is an international conference that was initially set up as a meeting for Meat Research Workers in Beijing in 2016. It has now taken on the forms of an annual world gathering of research personnel, engineers, academicians, scientists, policymakers and persons engaged in the meat industry to promote the international communication in meat science and industry.

With the inspiration of successful previous International Workshops,the Institute of Food Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) plans to hold the 5th International Workshop of Meat Quality and Processing Technology from 22 to 24 June, 2022 in Beijing, China.

The theme of this workshop is meat quality and supply chain management. It’s thus to provide a platform to enhance the international discussion and opinion exchange on the latest research and developments in digital evaluation and intelligent detection meat quality, precise drip loss reducing, intelligent storage and logistics technology, management and equipment in supply chain.

We sincerely invite you to attend the 5th International Workshop, looking forward to meeting you in June 2022 in Beijing.


Establish an international platform for knowledge sharing and scientific discussion and set up a collaboration network of meat science and technology.
