    The Institute of Agro-Products Processing Science and Technology in Chinese Academic of Agricultural Sciences (IAPPST-CAAS) is the only national research institution in agro-products processing area which carries on the missions of scientific innovation, technology transfer, international cooperation, senior research talents cultivation and strategic study, etc.

    The Institute has 4 academic research disciplines, which are Agro-Products Processing, Preservation and Logistics, Agro-Products Quality and Bio-Safety, Nutrition, Health and Functional Food; 7 sub-categories, which are Grain and Oil Processing, Animal Products Processing, Fruit and Vegetable Processing, Traditional Food Processing and Machinery, Preservation and Logistics, Agro-Products Quality and Bio-Safety, and Nutrition, Health and Functional Food. The Institute has developed 2 research priorities supported by Chinese national government, 2 research priorities supported by CAAS and 4 research priorities supported by the Institute. The Institute has constructed 3 national public research platforms, which are National Key Laboratory of Agro-Products Processing, MOA, National Pilot Plant on Agro-Products Processing, MOA, and National Risk Assessment Laboratory of Agro-Products Processing Quality and Safety, MOA. In the international cooperation area, 7 Joint Research Center has been built with Argentina, the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, Italy and Japan. The Institute has 2 doctoral programs on Agro-Products Quality and Food Safety, Agro-Products Processing and Utilization; 4 master’s programs on Food Science, Grain, Oil and Plant Protein Engineering, Agro-Products Processing and Preservation, Food Processing and Safety.

    The professional vacancies are open for the 2013 university graduates, overseas study returnees, post-doctors, etc. Among the 2013 university graduates, students from military academies, on-line education, through self-study examination, etc. are not included. The overseas study returnees need to possess the academic credential evaluation and the Overseas Study Certification provided by Chinese Embassy, and the returned time should be no earlier than July 1^st, 2011 and no later than February, 2014. The overseas study returnees who do not have registered permanent residence in Beijing should obtain master’s degree or above. The post-doctors are required to get the Post-doctoral Study Appraisal before February, 2014.
